To produce consistent, quality results, injection molding requires well-designed and well-built molds. That’s why Recto offers tooling services, such as design, build, revisions and maintenance for tooling, fixtures, and related products. 

Recto Molded Products has a tooling department that is equipped with both the latest technology for designing, developing, and maintaining molds, as well as the most experienced personnel. From concept to production, our Tool Room works closely with both Production and Engineering, bringing their decades of experience in mold design, building, and upkeep with them. They also have plenty of experience in fixture and automation designs and building for injection molding. 

Thanks to their experience, our skilled designers and engineers combine that expertise with cutting-edge technology to develop efficient and durable solutions, optimize the productivity of our shop, and ensure the highest quality for each part.

All of our surface equipment is well maintained and our staff is cross-trained to operate all of the equipment. Since 2020, Recto has performed all mold/tooling repairs in house, reducing lead times and controlling costs.
